It looks like Facebook is suffering an outage. It is the first time I see this happening. I think is because they are using PHP instead of Perl.

I am curious if the world will see a surge in productivity.

I can not find any news related to the fact that Facebook is down on the internet, but on twitter this is an already trending topic. I wonder why Facebook's outage is not a trending topic on Google+ too.

Who do you think is responsible for this - Google (to market its Google+ which, by the way, is AWESOME), Anonymous, or just some engineer that is learning how to do deployments ?
